Plantiga_Set up Procedure_01.mp4
Download the app….
(Note that you will only need the mobile app for the hardware setup)
Sign up for an account in the app with the email you used to register for Plantiga.
Go to the Settings tab and hit "Get Started". Then follow the on screen prompts to connect your Dock and initialize your Pods.
Note that you must have access to a private WiFi network. If you only use a shared network, like Eduroam/Anyroam, please contact [email protected]
The dock will remember up to 20 different WiFi networks, so if you plan to be going between locations with different networks, repeat Step 3 in each location the first time you go there, and after that the dock will automatically connect.
If you see solid orange lights on your pods, you have completed the setup and they are now charging. You’ll want to let them charge fully before collecting data. This will take up to 2 hours and the pod lights will turn white when they are fully charged.
In the meantime, trim your insoles to fit into your shoes and then head to plantiga.io to log into the web portal, which you will use to collect and view data.
On your computer, navigate to plantiga.io and ****log in using the same email you registered with. You’ll land on the People page and you should see your name at the top - you’re automatically added when you set up your account.
The pods you initialized on your account will automatically be paired to you. If you don’t see a right and a left pod beside your name, pick the pods up from the dock and put them back on.
The pod chips next to your name show their status. A checkmark means docked and fully charged. A battery means docked and still charging. A triangle means undocked.
On your phone, navigate to plantiga.io and log in using the same email you registered with. We recommend saving this page as an icon on your home screen for easy access.
iPhone (Safari): Scroll up on the page until you see the following icon appear at the bottom of the screen
Then select “Add to Home Screen”. Name it “plantiga.io”
Android (Chrome): Click the 3 dots next to the URL bar and select “Install App.”
When your pods are done charging, the pod lights will turn white and you’ll be able to collect data.
